here is always something happening at Theo's, sometimes it's serious, but usually it is just a whole lot of fun! The art in the courtyard is always changing, one month it will be a collection of photos, the next month a series of water colour paintings by a local artist, and once in a while, a collection of paintings by the Grade 2 class at Naramata School. Always on display are Theo’s permanent collections of Greek photographs, antique folk tapestries and original paintings,
We sponsor several events throughout the year including; The Theo's Art Auction, Theo's at 10,000 ft., and The Beach Blanket Film Festival. To find out more, contact us.

Theo's Annual Art Gallery of the South Okanagan Art Auction - Held in June each year. Proceeds benefit the Art Gallery.

The Beach Blanket Film Festival - Each year, on the third weekend in July, audiences of about a thousand gather on the shores of Lake Okanagan under a starry sky to enjoy three evenings of Canadian film.
Theo’s restaurant owner Nikos Theodosakis invented the outdoor event seven years ago from "a desire to see more Canadian films locally, to have a venue for local filmmakers to show their work, and to create an event which takes full advantage of living in the Okanagan Valley".
Since its inception, it has attracted thousands who have enjoyed films such as The Red Violin, Margaret’s Museum, Thirty Two Short Films about Glen Gould, My American Cousin, Kissed, Perfectly Normal, Double Happiness, Going Down the Road, and dozens more.
Festival Guest have included filmmakers Mort Ransen and Sandy Wilson, producers Steven Hedges and Louise Clark, actors Jay Brazeau, Babz Chula and many others.
The very first Beach Blanket kicked off with Nikos and Lindas own Genie nominated comedy, "The Date", which was filmed in Penticton, and has aired around the world.
Proceeds go to assist community arts organizations such as The Art Gallery of the South Okanagan, which have been working with Theo’s since 1977.

Theo’s at Ten Thousand Feet - Imagine dinning with three friends with a spectacular seven-course meal, each served with an appropriate Okanagan wine. Imagine the wine served by the winemaker from Sumac Ridge winery. Imagine the food served by the owner of Theo’s Restaurant. Imagine your table is the only one in the section, which is really the top of a mountain that overlooks three lakes of the Okanagan valley. Everyone is helicoptered there, as there is no road access. This is, after all, the very top of a mountain.
This is Theo’s at 10,000 feet.
Since 1993, Theo’s has produced this mountain top dinner as a benefit fundraiser for the Okanagan Similkameen Neurological Society. The society is based in Penticton and assists children and their families throughout the South Okanagan and Similkameen area.
Tickets go on sale each summer and a draw is held at the end of August, with the lucky winner taking their three friends up sometime in September.
A recent winner commented, "It’s nice to be able to go for a little walk between dishes, you know, go pick some wildflowers, look at the lake, then come back and sit down at this table".
There is no truth to the rumor that Theo’s will be performing a similar experience, underwater, below Okanagan Lake. At least not yet.
